Sadies life mission is to encourage people to live as the originals they were created to be. Every time I listen to her podcast, “Whoa that’s good” I feel like I’ve just sat in a round table with people who are filled with humility, experience and a spirit of generosity.

BURNA BOY

Burna showed me that i didn’t have to compromise who I was to be famous. He showed me this by staying true to his craft for years even before the world knew who he was. I remember seeing Burna live when i was in secondary school.

My then-boyfriend was obsessed with him and gave b all his attention. it was hilarious. i was so jealous of burna that day hahaha. Nonetheless, Burna won a grammy on his 8th album.

I can’t help but think of his belief in himself. He never compromised his vision of afrobeats. I am so glad he stayed with music - I learned that he dropped out of school and moved back to Nigeria to pursue his dreams. Boy am I glad he did.
