Appreciation for the mundane
Appreciation for the mundane
It’s so easy to long for the future while in the present. The anxiety that comes with transitions is real but it does not have to be all consuming. If we start taking notice of all the good around us, it will start to feel less like we are doing time and more like a temporary season with perks.
The best is yet to come. I got rejected today from a job I really wanted. It was with a fantastic company on the West Coast at a creative agency. It really would have been perfect for me.
The rejection hurt and It made me question everything - my sanity, intellectual worth, path - you name it but I do believe that my best is yet to come. It may not have been the best position for me currently even though I strongly want to believe that. I will keep grinding and thanking God for all I do have.
Again, there is a lot to be thankful for. This is not coming from someone who claims to have all the answers but a girl who is choosing to see the good in all circumstances regardless of the outcome.
I love you all and I hope the very best for you.
We’ll talk soon xox
